The Canvas is $30. A Signature patch is $10. So a hat with one Signature patch is $40, and a hat with three of them is $30 for the hat plus $30 in patches. Candyz patches at $5 each move the total in smaller steps.

Is the patch surface hook and loop, and how does a patch hold?

In principle, yes. Hook on the back of the patch, loop on the hat. That is the mechanism, and it is why a patch can come off without leaving a mark and go back on without any heat, glue or thread.

In practice it is not an off-the-shelf loop panel stitched onto the front. It is Patchistry Fiber, our own weave, and it runs across the whole front panel and over the brim.
