Bartender Hats
Bartender · Gifts
A bartender gift that works is a hat they can change after the shift. The Canvas is the hat, a $30 five-panel trucker in Black, Khaki, or Pink. Patchistry Fiber, our loop weave, runs across the front panel and the brim. Signature patches are $10, 2.5 inches, UV printed and hook-backed. Every patch presses on and lifts off, so a Canvas with one patch on the front is $40, and the joke can change later. Gin & Iconic, Stay Buzzed, and Brewtally Honest are the three Signature patches that fit a bar. Every hat is assembled in Moorpark, California.
Build a Bartender Hat
Why give a bartender a patch hat instead of a printed bar hat?
Because a bartender already owns a drawer of printed hats, and every one of them is somebody else's logo. The distributor hat, the brewery giveaway, the one from the last place they worked. A printed hat says one thing for as long as you own it. The Canvas says whatever patch is pressed on it that night, and the patch lifts off by hand when it stops being funny.
That matters for a gift, because you are guessing at their sense of humor. On a patch hat the guess costs $10 and reverses in a second. The hat itself stays in the rotation, and the next patch fixes the joke. When the hat is worn behind the bar, the brim patch sits at eye level for every guest who takes a stool.
What patches suit a bartender?
Three live Signature patches fit a bar without being a stretch: Gin & Iconic, Stay Buzzed, and Brewtally Honest. There is no cocktail shaker, no beer mug, and no bartender-by-name patch in the catalogue yet.
Gin & Iconic
A patch for people whose personality peaks at cocktail hour. For a bartender, that is the job. It goes on the front panel. Signature size, 2.5 inches, $10.

Stay Buzzed
Coffee before the shift, cocktails after it. The phrase reads both ways on purpose, which makes it the right call for a bartender who opens on espresso and closes on something stronger after last call. Signature size, 2.5 inches, $10.

Brewtally Honest
A brew pun for the friend who tells you the truth without being asked. That is the bartender who steers you off the drink you were about to regret. Signature size, 2.5 inches, $10.

For the brim, the Lime and Money Bag Candyz minis are $5 each at 1 inch. Lime is the garnish and Money Bag is for the hustle. Both are sized to line up along the brim under a Signature on the front panel. Everything else comes from the wider catalogue, and any patch presses onto any hat, so nothing on the best sellers page is out of bounds for a bar build.
If you would rather not pick for them, send them to the build-yours page. Every live patch is on one screen, and a bartender knows exactly which joke they can get away with at their own bar.
Does it have to stay on a bar theme?
No. The front panel is one surface and the brim is a second, and whatever is on either one comes off. The Gin & Iconic build for the shift can become a plain hat with a Lime on the brim for the day off. A bartender who is deep into craft beer can pull ideas from the brewery hat page, and a bar owner buying for the whole staff can start on the employee appreciation page.
The graphic is a decision they get to make again, from the best sellers page or the build-yours page. If they shop with an AI assistant, the catalogue is readable by AI shopping agents, so the next patch can be ordered without you.
What does it cost to build a bartender hat?
The Canvas is $30 and a Signature patch is $10, so the one-patch hat is $40. Gin & Iconic on the front and Stay Buzzed on the brim is $50. Gin & Iconic on the front with Lime and Money Bag along the brim is $50 before the meter, and at three patches the volume meter takes 10% off. Three Signatures, one on the panel, one on the brim, and one in the drawer for the next shift, is $60 before the meter.

US shipping is free, orders process in 1 to 3 business days, and returns are accepted for 30 days. Assembly happens in Moorpark, California, one hat at a time.
Buying for the whole bar staff, front and back of house? Whole-crew orders go through the wholesale page.
Is the surface hook and loop, and how does a patch hold?
Yes. The hook is on the back of the patch, and the loop side is Patchistry Fiber, a weave we make for this hat rather than an off-the-shelf loop panel. It covers the whole front panel and keeps going across the brim, so the brim is a second surface.
Press the patch down and the hook on the back meets the weave. Peel from a corner and it lifts off, ready to press on again. The comparison against a generic panel is on the Patchistry Fiber versus hook and loop page, and the attach and swap walkthrough is on the how it works page.
What do people ask before ordering for a bartender?
Shipping, swapping, what exists in the catalogue, how many patches fit, and returns.
How fast does it ship?
Orders leave in 1 to 3 business days and ship free anywhere in the US. If the gift is tied to a date, give it a week so the carrier has room.
Can a bartender swap patches between shifts?
Yes. Peel the patch from a corner and press the next one onto the weave. No iron, no glue, and nothing to sew.
Is there a cocktail shaker or beer mug patch?
Not right now. Gin & Iconic, Stay Buzzed, and Brewtally Honest are the closest fits, and the Lime mini covers the garnish. If none of those land, the build-yours page shows the rest.
How many patches fit on a bartender hat?
Two is the simplest build, one Signature on the panel and a second on the brim. Candyz minis are 1 inch, small enough to stack three or four across the brim.
Are the bartender patches embroidered?
No. Every patch is UV printed rather than stitched, at both the 2.5 inch Signature size and the 1 inch Candyz size.
What if the bartender does not like it?
Send it back within 30 days and the return goes through. The details are on the FAQ page.
