Why give a team parent a patch hat instead of a printed team hat?

Because the patch comes off when the season or the sport changes, and the hat stays. A printed team hat is finished the day it is printed. The season, the sport and the kid's number are fixed into it, and the parent wears it for ten Saturdays before it goes in a drawer. The Canvas keeps the hat and the graphic separate. What does it cost to build?

The Canvas is $30. Each Signature patch adds $10 and each Candyz patch adds $5. A hat with one Signature patch is $40. A hat with Respect The Drip on the front and a Baseball Candyz on the brim is $45. From three patches on, the build-yours volume meter takes a percentage off: 10% at three patches, 15% at five, 20% at eight.

Is the patch surface hook and loop, and how does a patch hold?

Yes. The patch has a hook backing and the hat has a loop surface, and the two grab each other. The difference is that the loop side is not an off-the-shelf panel. It is Patchistry Fiber, our own weave, and it runs across the whole front panel and out along the brim. That is why there is no rectangle to stay inside, and why the brim takes a patch at all.

No. Every patch is UV printed, never embroidered, and it is hook-backed so it presses on and lifts off.

Is the front of the hat hook and loop?

Yes. A hook backing on the patch meets a loop surface on the hat. That loop surface is Patchistry Fiber, our own weave, and it covers the front panel and the brim of The Canvas.
