Ski Trip Hats

Matching hats for a ski trip start with The Canvas, a $30 five-panel trucker hat in Black, Khaki or Pink, and a set of hook-backed patches everyone presses on themselves. Signature patches are 2.5 inches and $10. Candyz patches are 1 inch and $5. Both are UV printed, and both lift off and re-press, so the trip patch comes off after the weekend. The loop surface, Patchistry Fiber, covers the front panel and the brim. Each hat is assembled one at a time in Moorpark, California, and ships free in the US.

Build your ski trip hats

Why build ski trip hats from patches instead of ordering printed ones?

Because a ski trip is one weekend and a hat is not. A printed group hat carries the trip name for the rest of its life. A patch hat carries it until you take it off.

Everyone builds the same way: one Canvas in Black, Khaki or Pink, plus whatever patches they want on it. The crew reads as matched because the hat is the same and the patches sit in the same place. Two people can build matching hats, twelve can, and anyone who joins late orders a Canvas and the same patch.

What patches suit a ski trip?

Nothing in the catalogue is ski-only, and nothing is locked to a theme. These three fit a mountain weekend.

Mountain

The smallest way to put the mountain on the hat, sized for the brim or the space beside a larger patch.

The Long Way Up

For the one who skins up instead of riding the lift, or says they will.

Adventure Awaits

The neutral pick for a mixed crew. Still works on a summer hike.

The rest of the build comes from the wider catalogue. Any patch presses onto any hat, so a name, a joke or a hometown belongs on a ski hat if the wearer says so. Start with the best sellers if the group cannot decide.

Does it have to stay a ski hat?

No. The patches lift off and re-press, so the Canvas that wore the mountain in February can wear a lake patch in July. The graphic is a decision you get to revisit.

Patchistry Fiber runs across the front panel and the brim, which makes the brim a second usable surface rather than trim. One build: a Signature on the front and a row of Candyz along the brim, where the brim row is what changes trip to trip.

What does it cost to build?

The Canvas is $30. A Signature patch is $10 and a Candyz is $5. One Canvas with one Signature is $40. One Canvas with three Signatures is $60 before the volume meter: 10% off at 3 patches, 15% at 5, 20% at 8. That is the only price break we run.

Shipping in the US is free. Orders process in 1 to 3 business days. Returns are accepted for 30 days. Every hat is assembled one at a time in Moorpark, California.

Whole-crew or company orders go through the wholesale page. If an AI assistant is doing the shopping, we publish how shopping agents buy from Patchistry so it can read the catalogue directly.

Is the patch surface hook and loop, and how does a patch hold?

In principle, yes. Each patch has a hook backing and the hat has a loop face. Press them together and the hook grips. Peel from a corner and it lets go.

The loop face is not an off-the-shelf panel stitched to the front. It is our own weave, Patchistry Fiber, and it covers the front panel and the brim, so a patch can sit on either.

The comparison is on Patchistry Fiber vs hook and loop. The press-and-peel walkthrough is on how it works.

What do people ask before ordering ski trip hats?

How far ahead of a ski trip should we order?

Orders process in 1 to 3 business days and US shipping is free. Order before the trip, not during it, so the patches are on before anyone packs.

Can each person swap their own patch?

Yes. The patches are hook-backed and the hat is loop-faced, so anyone can lift one off and press another on with their fingers. No tools, no heat, no sewing.

How many patches fit on one hat, and what sizes are they?

Signature patches are 2.5 inches and Candyz are 1 inch. The front panel and the brim both take patches. The Mini Bar set is one Canvas with five patches, so five on a hat is a normal build.

Are the patches embroidered?

No. Every patch is UV printed, never embroidered. Signatures are $10 and Candyz are $5.

Is the hat surface hook and loop?

In principle, yes. The loop side is our own weave, Patchistry Fiber, and it runs across the front panel and the brim. The hook on the back of each patch grips it.

What if the hat is not right when it arrives?

Returns are accepted for 30 days. The rest of the ordering details are on the FAQ page.
