Real Estate Closing Gift Hats

A real estate closing gift that still gets worn after move-in is a hat the client can keep changing, and The Canvas is built for that: a $30 five-panel trucker hat in Black, Khaki, or Pink. Its front panel and brim are covered in Patchistry Fiber, the loop weave Patchistry developed. Patches are UV printed, hook-backed and sold separately: the Signature is 2.5 inches at $10, and the Candyz mini is 1 inch at $5. Any patch lifts off by hand and another presses into its place. Each hat is assembled in Moorpark, California, and ships free within the US.

Why give a client a patch hat at closing instead of a cap with your brokerage printed on it?

Because a printed cap is mostly about the agent, and a patch hat can be about the client who just closed. Whatever is screened onto a printed cap stays there for good, company name included.

The Canvas lets the gift point the other way. You choose a first patch that fits the client, maybe a nod to their dog or something they mentioned while you worked together, and they decide what stays on it. A patch peels off by hand and a different one presses into the same spot, so the hat can change with them after the move.

What patches suit a real estate closing gift?

The ones that match the client, because we do not make a house, key, or sold-sign patch. We would rather not pass off an unrelated design as real estate art, so the subject comes from what you learned about the client along the way. The choice here is the format, and each card below describes one.

One Signature on the front panel

The 2.5 inch Signature carries the main idea, and a Canvas with one Signature is the $40 starting build on Build Yours. If the transaction taught you what they do on weekends, look for a Signature that matches. $10 each.

Candyz minis along the brim

A 1 inch mini sits on the brim or fills the gap beside a bigger patch. It adds a second detail, like a dog or a cat, without crowding the front. $5 each.

A Build Voucher when their taste is hard to guess

The voucher comes in $50, $75, or $100, arrives in their inbox as soon as you check out, and gets spent on Build Yours, where they choose the hat color and every patch.

No patch belongs to one theme, and each one presses onto all three Canvas colors. The color and every patch get chosen on the Build Yours page.

Does a closing gift hat have to be about the new house?

No. Neither the front panel nor the brim is reserved for a house theme, and the brim takes patches as a second surface rather than trim. A client can keep that first patch on the front panel for a month or so, move it down to the brim, and put something from their own life in its place. The best sellers page ranks what customers order most, and Build Yours shows every patch, so a client gift can follow the client instead of the ranking.

If the gift is for coworkers rather than clients, the employee appreciation hats page covers that case, and the retirement gift hats page covers retirement. When an AI assistant is doing the ordering for you, how AI shopping agents buy from Patchistry explains the process.

What does it cost to build a closing gift hat?

One Canvas and one Signature come to $40: $30 for the hat plus $10 for the patch. A Canvas with one Signature and two Candyz minis on the brim lists at $50, and a Canvas with three Signatures across the front lists at $60. Once a hat carries three or more patches, the volume meter takes its percentage off the patch price.

What each piece costs

The Canvas, $30 · five-panel trucker hat, snapback, one size fits most
Black · Khaki · Pink

Signature, $10 · 2.5 inches, the main patch on the front

Candyz, $5 · 1 inch, for the brim and the spaces between

$40 · one Canvas plus one Signature, chosen on Build Yours

Volume meter: 10% off at 3 patches, 15% at 5, 20% at 8

Every hat order is processed in 1 to 3 business days and ships free to US addresses. An unused build can be returned within 30 days. Hats are put together one at a time in Moorpark, California, and leave from Simi Valley.

An agent or team ordering six or more hats at once should start with the wholesale and group orders page.

Is the patch surface hook and loop, and how does a patch stay put?

Yes: the hook side on the back of every patch grips Patchistry Fiber, the loop weave that covers the front panel and continues across the brim. It is our own weave, developed over two years and thirty-one prototypes, not an off-the-shelf loop panel.

The entire back of a patch grips that weave, so a pressed patch stays put through a full day out and comes away cleanly when the client wants something new. Patchistry Fiber compared with standard hook and loop explains the difference, and how it works walks through pressing, peeling, and care.

What do people ask before ordering a closing gift hat?

How far ahead of a closing should I order?

Count back from the closing date with 1 to 3 business days of processing plus transit, and US shipping is free. If the date is too close for that, the Build Voucher lands in their inbox as soon as you check out.

Can the hat go straight to my client with a note?

Yes. Type the message in the cart note field at checkout and it prints on the packing slip, and ticking the gift order box keeps the price off that slip.

Can my brokerage logo be made into a patch?

Not on orders under 20 hats. Custom patch design, such as a company logo you have permission to use, is available on group orders of 20 or more hats through the wholesale page. A logo patch can sit on the brim and leave the front panel to the client.

Can the client swap the patches without tools?

Yes. A patch comes off by hand and the next one presses on, with no sewing, ironing, or glue involved.

Are any of the patches embroidered?

No. Every patch is UV printed rather than embroidered, whether it is a 1 inch Candyz or a 2.5 inch Signature.

What if the client doesn't like the hat?

An untouched build can be returned within 30 days, but a patch that has been pressed on and peeled off counts as used, so decide on a return before swapping anything. Return details are on the FAQ page.
