Quinceanera Hats
Quince · Court Gifts
A patch hat is a quinceañera gift for the court of honor rather than a party favor for every guest, and it suits the quinceañera herself too. The Canvas is a $30 five-panel trucker hat in Black, Khaki, or Pink, with Patchistry Fiber across the front panel and the brim. The patches are UV printed and hook-backed: 2.5 inches and $10 for a Signature, 1 inch and $5 for a Candyz. Every patch lifts off by hand, so the Crown patch can come off after the party and another patch can go on. Each hat is assembled in Moorpark, California.

Why a patch hat for a quinceañera instead of a printed hat or the usual favors?
A patch hat outlasts the night because the patch comes off. A printed hat is locked to Mis XV and the year. A patch hat marks the day with a stock patch that lifts off afterward and leaves a plain trucker hat for school or the beach.
A search for quinceañera party favors mostly returns small items counted per guest: cups, hand fans, mirrors, keychains, magnets. Those are bought one per guest, and a $30 hat is not a per-guest item. It suits the court of honor, the padrinos, or the quinceañera herself. One court-gift guide suggests one unisex gift for both damas and chambelanes and lists a hat as an example.
Matching hats have a place in the baile sorpresa, when the court changes out of formal wear for a choreographed dance, and in the photos afterward.
What patches suit a quinceañera?
Crown, Butterfly, and Party are the three we would press onto a quinceañera hat, and each is a 1-inch Candyz for $5. None was drawn for a quince, but each matches a part of the day.
Crown
Its product page says it tops off a build and calls it a certified ruler. The tiara is central to a quinceañera, and Crown is the nearest patch to one. 1 inch, $5.

Butterfly
Butterflies are a common quinceañera theme on invitations. Butterfly's own page calls it the glow-up in patch form, for every era the wearer has grown all the way through. 1 inch, $5.

Party
Its product page calls it confetti compressed into one inch and says it turns any hat into a celebration, a dama's or a chambelán's. 1 inch, $5.

Star, Pink Flower, and Purple Flower are in the Candyz line as well, and Crown's own page pairs it with Star. Minis can line the brim and leave the front panel open for a Signature.
Does the hat have to stay quinceañera-themed?
No. Nothing about the layout is fixed. After the party, Crown can move to the brim as a small reminder while the front panel takes something new. Or everything can come off and the hat is plain again.
The best sellers page ranks patches by orders over the last 90 days, and that list is led by bachelorette-trip patches. For a court of teenagers, Build Yours is the better place to pick from.

What does it cost to build a quinceañera hat?
A Canvas with Crown, Butterfly, and Party lists at $45, which is $30 for the hat and $5 for each of the three Candyz. All three hat colors take the same patches, so a court can match one color or mix them.

Processing takes 1 to 3 business days, US shipping is free, and unused builds can come back within 30 days. Hats are built in Moorpark, California, and ship from Simi Valley.
A court can run from a few pairs to a dozen or more people. For the whole court, start at the wholesale and group orders page, which handles groups of 6 to 200+. If an AI assistant is doing the ordering, how AI shopping agents buy from Patchistry explains what it can do.
Is the patch surface hook and loop, and what keeps a patch on?
Yes. The patch carries hook and the hat carries loop. The loop is Patchistry Fiber, a weave developed over two years and thirty-one prototypes, not an off-the-shelf panel. It runs across the whole front panel and the brim.
The hook covers the full back of each patch, which is why it holds through a day out and still peels away clean. How Patchistry Fiber differs from standard hook and loop covers the weave, and how it works shows the press, the peel, and the care.
What do people ask before ordering quinceañera hats?
The six below cover timing, sizing, pressing patches on, patch count, printing, and returns.
Will the hats arrive before the quinceañera party?
Yes, for most orders placed 8 or more business days out. Allow 1 to 3 business days of processing, then typically 3 to 5 more for US delivery. Checkout offers expedited shipping; if the date is within 3 days, message us first.
Will one hat size fit a court of teenagers?
Mostly, yes. The Canvas comes in one size, with an adjustable snapback that runs from hat size 6 7/8 to 8. The product page calls it one size fits most.
Can the damas and chambelanes press the patches on without help?
Yes. Line the patch up hook side down, press it for two or three seconds, and it is on; peeling from a corner takes it off. No sewing, iron, or glue is involved.
How many patches will a court hat hold?
Four to six Signatures or eight to twelve Candyz fit on the front panel, and mixing the two is common. The brim takes another two to four.
Can a patch carry a name, date, or Mis XV?
Not through Build Yours, at any quantity. Every patch there is a stock design, UV printed rather than embroidered. For 20 or more hats, the wholesale page covers a patch designed for the group.
What if a hat is not right for the person it was built for?
Unused builds can be returned within 30 days. Once a patch has been peeled off, the build counts as used, so look each hat over before any patch comes off. The FAQ page lists the return terms.
