Sorority Bid Day, Formal, Philanthropy Hats — Patchistry for Greek Life

Group Orders · Sorority & Greek Life

Bid day. Formal. Philanthropy. The hat your chapter actually wants.

Patchistry builds modular trucker hats with hook-backed swappable patches. For a sorority chapter, that means one chapter-specific Canvas + a rotating set of patches for every event of the year. One hat. Multiple identities. Custom patch design unlocked at 20+ hats.

Five chapter events Patchistry was made for

Bid Day The first hat new members get

Custom chapter letters patch + one signature anchor patch + small Candyz mix. Chapter colors via Canvas selection. Order 4-6 weeks before bid day for full custom design; 1-2 weeks for stock patches only.

Typical order: 30-150 hats. Per-hat cost at 50+: ~$42. Total chapter budget: $1,260 (30 hats) – $6,300 (150 hats).

Formal The hat for the after-party

Formal patches + venue/city specific Candyz (Nashville, Vegas, Lake Tahoe). The hat that comes off mid-night and ends up in the rideshare photo. Pairs with the bid day Canvas if your chapter buys both.

Typical order: 30-80 hats. Per-hat at 30+: ~$45.

Philanthropy The hat that sells out the event

Philanthropy-themed patches (cause-specific designs available via custom design at 20+ tier). Often the most photographed hat your chapter buys all year, because it shows up at the actual event with non-members buying matching ones.

Typical order: 50-200 hats for sale at event + chapter wear.

Big-Little Reveal The unboxing gift that doesn't suck

Each big gets a Canvas + patches that match her little's personality. Modular = personalized for each pairing without ordering 30 different SKUs. Cheaper than the bid day order, more personal than the formal hat.

Typical order: 15-40 hats. Per-hat at 15+: ~$45.

Senior Week / Initiation The graduating-class hat

Graduating-class patch + small Candyz that represent the chapter years. The hat seniors actually keep and wear post-graduation. Ships with each canvas in a memorabilia-quality dust bag for the goodbye dinner.

Typical order: 15-50 hats.

For 20+ hat orders, custom chapter patch design is included. Send your chapter letters, mascot, and event date — we send back 3 patch concept variations within 48 hours. No design fee.

What other chapters have done

Patchistry is a small SoCal brand — we don't yet have hundreds of chapter testimonials. What we DO have is the modular system that fits Greek life better than fixed-design custom hats, the SoCal-direct shipping that beats most custom-hat lead times, and a founder (Brian DiGiuseppe) who personally approves every chapter mock-up before production.

If your chapter has done Patchistry hats and wants to be featured here, email brian@patchistry.com.

Why modular hats for chapter events specifically

Most custom chapter hats die after the event. Bid day hat retires once new members move past the new-girl phase. Formal hat retires the morning after. Philanthropy hat retires the week after.

A Patchistry Canvas (the hat) stays. The patches change. One chapter Canvas + bid day patches in August + formal patches in October + philanthropy patches in April = one hat, three events, lower per-event cost than ordering three different hats.
