Patchistry · Made for the jobsite
Trades Hats
Most work hats are a one-time decision. You order a batch with the shop name stitched on, wear it until it's gray, and the day you switch crews it's a hat about your old job. A Patchistry hat works the other direction. The entire front panel is the swap surface, so the graphic presses on, comes off, and gets replaced in about four seconds.

What makes a good hat for the jobsite?
A jobsite hat has to survive a truck cab in July, get sat on, and still read as yours, which rules out anything precious. The Canvas is Patchistry's hat, $30, in Black, Khaki or Pink. Black hides drywall dust and hydraulic fluid the way you'd expect. Khaki hides neither and looks better for it. The front panel is a hook-and-loop weave across the whole face of the hat, so whatever you put on it covers the panel instead of sitting in the middle like a name tag.
How do you rep your shop or your trade without ordering fifty hats?
You skip the minimum order entirely when the graphic isn't permanent. Signature patches are $10 each and hook straight onto the panel, so one $30 hat carries your trade on Monday and something dumber on Saturday. Unlike a permanently embroidered logo, nothing about the hat is settled the day you buy it. Here's how swappable patch hats work.
Will a patch hat hold up in a work truck?
The patch is held by loop weave across the full front panel rather than a small stitched square, which is a lot of surface area doing the work. It comes off when you pull it off. That weave took two years to get right in-house, and it's the part of the hat I'd defend first. The honest durability answer, though, is the price: patches are UV-printed on hook backs, so if one gets ground into a stucco wall you're out $10 and not a hat. Keep a spare in the glovebox.
What does a trades hat cost and how fast does it ship?
The Canvas is $30, Signature patches are $10 each, and the Weekender — one Canvas plus three patches — is $55. US shipping is free on orders of $5 or more, and nothing here is under $10, so shipping is free. Orders are processed in one to three business days and ship out of Southern California.
Straight answers
Can the patch come off and go back on?
Yes. Patchistry patches are hook-backed and press onto the hat's hook-and-loop front panel, so swapping one takes seconds and no tools. Nothing is sewn, glued or ironed, which means the same hat can rep your shop on a job and something else entirely at the bar after.
Are these embroidered?
No. The patches are UV-printed on hook backs, not stitched into the hat. Unlike a permanently embroidered logo, the design isn't part of the hat, so changing what the hat says costs $10 instead of a new order.
Can you kit out a whole crew?
Group and bulk builds run through the wholesale page. That's the route for a shop putting the same look on six guys or sixteen, instead of everyone ordering one at a time and hoping the colorways line up.
What comes in the $55 Weekender?
The Weekender is one Canvas plus three Signature patches for $55, in whichever colorway you pick. Buying those pieces separately comes to $60, so it's the sensible start if you already know you want more than one look.
